Scott & Ashley Bess
***Update*** Scott & Ashley had a baby placed in their home in January of 2023, which unfortunately ended in a disrupted adoption. They are thankful for the time they had with that precious baby, and are now matched again- and hopeful this baby is the one God has planned to be in their family. Sadly, all of the funds raised initially through their project went towards the first disrupted adoption, so they are essentially starting over at this point. They need to raise an additional $30,000 to complete this adoption.
Scott and Ashley have been married for nine years. Scott is a Children’s Pastor at FBC Biloxi and Ashley is a teacher. They met serving on the mission field through their colleges and were both placed on the same team serving in children’s ministry. Adoption is the perfect representation of Christ’s love for His people. We are adopted into the family of God and want to lead by example and grow our family through adoption.
A Waiting Child
We have been trying to grow our family for close to 7 years. We have been praying and waiting and adoption was always on the list but one of us would not be ready to go down that road when the other would be. In 2018 God’s timing is always perfect and led both of hearts to start the journey of adoption to start our family.
Ms. Virginia
Ms. Virginia has been a part of our church family for over 10 years. Since serving at FBC Biloxi we have had the pleasure of getting to know Ms. Virginia. She has a love for singing in the Choir and serving others. These past couple of years, especially during covid have brought some hardships with Ms. Virginia’s health and we are so excited to be able to serve her as a church family!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
