Even before we were married, we dreamed of adopting and believed it would be part of our future together. We were blessed with the birth of our son in 2022, who has brought so much joy into our lives. God’s calling on our hearts to welcome a baby into our family through the miracle of adoption has continued to grow and we are trusting His timing by taking steps forward in faith. We know God has a testimony He is writing through our adoption journey and we invite you to be part it.
First, and most importantly, we ask for your prayers. We ask God to be with us every step of the way and to guide our path. We ask Him to keep the birth mother safe and to know her worth in His kingdom. She has made the most selfless, brave decision of giving her child life and chose our family to have the privilege of raising her baby. We hope to show her the love of Jesus throughout our lives as we give her son or daughter the most special childhood possible, which she is invited to be part of.

Baby Botello
We received the joyful call on October 1 that we were chosen by the first and only birth mom we presented to. It was so clear that God was calling us to this woman and her story. We are protective of the details, as we deeply honor and respect her as the birth mother of our baby, but her story is filled with details that would break your heart the way it broke ours. She is a child of God and we want her to know how loved she is. Her due date is April 2026 and we are counting the weeks until we get to welcome baby home. The total estimated cost is $75,000 including agency costs, attorney fees, and the birth mother's expenses which must be paid in $10,000 increments leading up to the birth.
The staggering financial aspect of adoption has placed us in the humble position of asking for your support. Ms. Jeannie
This particular widow's story is very near and dear to our hearts, as Jeannie is Erin's mom. She lost her husband to stage 4 pancreatic cancer leaving her as a widow of 3 children. When her husband was diagnosed, he was told that he would only have a few months to live and exceeded all doctor's expectations when he lived 2 more years. My mom was his primary caregiver and the medical bills for his chemo treatments, surgeries, hospital stays, radiation, and hospice left her with nothing but the roof over her head. Shortly after he passed away, there was a pipe burst and when the hardwood floors were lifted up she discovered black mold throughout the home. She was unable to pay for repairs and was left with no other option than to sell the home where she was raising her girls. She was able to purchase a smaller, older home and is content living a simple retired life. Her grandson is the light of her days and she looks forward to the sound of more little feet running around her home soon. Unfortunately, her house has become rundown and is in need of repairs that are beyond her means. It is our great blessing to be able to serve her through a Both Hands project that will bring her comfort and be part of her legacy as her family tree grows.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.
