We love the life we’ve built together on our 10 acres, surrounded by our chickens, dogs, garden, and small-town community. As teachers, we spend our days caring for and investing in children, and we want to bring that same love into our own family through adoption. Our faith in Jesus shapes how we live. We want our home to be rooted in love, faith, and service. We want to raise a child in a home where they feel loved, safe, and supported. We hope to give a child a place to truly belong and a family that will walk alongside them through every stage of life. Above all, we want our home to honor God and be a place where our family can grow together.

Baby Durnin
We have known from early in our relationship that having biological children would not be possible for us. We chose adoption because we believe God is calling us to grow our family by welcoming a child who needs a loving home. We have completed our home study and are now prayerfully waiting to be matched with the right situation. We trust God to lead us to the child He has chosen to join our family.
Ms. Nancy
Nancy is our neighbor next door and someone who brings a lot of kindness to our small community. She regularly checks in on the neighbors around her and is always sharing homemade jam, pickles, and other goodies she makes. On project day, we’ll be pressure washing, repairing and cleaning up her back deck, and taking care of other yardwork around her home. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve someone who has always been so generous to those around her.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
