Hi! We’re Sidney and Jacob. We met at church in middle school and have been married since 2016. Even before we met, God had placed adoption on each of our hearts, and we believe He was preparing us for this journey long before we knew it. We were blessed by the miracle of our daughter, Maeve, and are honored and grateful to continue growing our family through the sacred and complex journey of adoption.

We are so excited to have been matched with twin boys due this fall! Domestic adoption costs around $60,000, which primarily covers agency fees, birth mother care (support with daily living, counseling, etc) and legal fees. We are so grateful for the support to help with these expenses. It takes a village to raise a child and sometimes it takes a village to bring one home too. Thank you for being part of our village.
Ms. Celia
Celia (pictured left) has lived in her home for the better part of 70 years. She moved there with her parents and siblings in her early teens. She lived elsewhere for 5 years after marrying. Her husband left when their son (only child) was born — she’s had no contact since, for more than 50 years. She never remarried, and returned, along with her son, to live with her parents. She took care of them until they passed away and continues living in the home which is now hers. Her younger sister, Beatrice has lived in the home since she was a child. Beatrice has additional needs, and although she is high functioning, she cannot live alone. Celia has spent most of her life as a caregiver; Raising her son, taking care of her parents until they passed away, and continuing to care for her younger sister. She is a beloved mother, sister, and aunt/great aunt. She would do anything for her family. They have chosen to live where they do for more 70 years because they remain very close. Ms. Celia, her sisters, and a few nieces and nephews all live in four houses on the same plot.
When we met with Ms. Celia and began talking about our project, her dream is to be able to host her family in a renovated kitchen for thanksgiving this year. So, this is the primary goal of the project. We will also be tackling some outside storage sorting and clean up as well.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
