Keystone Family Alliance 2026

August 29, 2026 | Bernville, PA

We are a team with Keystone Family Alliance – Berks County, an organization committed to bridging the gap between the needs within the child welfare system and the local Church. While not everyone is called to foster or adopt, we believe everyone is called to do something. Our heart is to educate Jesus followers about the realities vulnerable children and families face, motivate them to discover how God is calling them to respond, and equip them with the tools, training, and information needed to make a meaningful difference.

**The first $3,000 donated to this project will be matched!!**

Care Communities

Foster Care Support | United States

We are raising funds to support the mission of Keystone Family Alliance – Berks County. It takes resources to engage with churches, train volunteers, and operate our online platform, Gateway—a vital tool that connects the needs of children in the child welfare system with those in the community who are ready to help. A key part of our work is launching Care Communities—teams that wrap around foster families with practical and emotional support for one year. The goal of these communities is to help families foster stronger, longer, keeping children in stable, loving homes. Each Care Community costs approximately $500, and our goal is to sustain 57 of them across Berks County. Funds raised will go directly toward closing our 2026 budget gap and helping us continue to make a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable children and the families who care for them.

Ms. Kathy

Widow | Pennsylvania

Kathy has been a lifelong member of GT Church and has a deep passion for caring for others and helping people find hope in Christ.

Over the years, Kathy has faithfully served in a variety of ministries at GT Church, including Bible studies, GriefShare, mentoring, and altar ministry. She has a heart for encouraging others and considers it a privilege to walk alongside people as they grow in their faith, navigate life's challenges, and experience God's grace and healing.

Her desire to see people experience the love of Jesus has led her to invest in her church and community in meaningful ways. Kathy is especially passionate about encouraging and supporting those who may feel alone or overlooked, helping them find connection, healing, and hope.

Through her faith, compassion, and years of ministry experience, Kathy continues to be a faithful servant and an encouragement to those around her. Whether offering a listening ear, praying with someone in need, mentoring others, or supporting individuals through difficult seasons, Kathy seeks to reflect Christ's love and point people toward the hope found in Him.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will support children and families experiencing foster care. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.

We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
