Michael & Michelle Murphy

November 8, 2025 | Leesburg, IN

Michael and Michelle have been married 8 years and together have 3 children, ages 13, 10, and 6. Michelle has always felt the calling to adopt, since her early twenties. Adoption is something we have both talked and prayed about for years. We both felt the calling to provide a safe, nurturing home for a child where they could hopefully come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. Before we took steps toward adoption, we talked with all of our kids, and they are so excited! We believe adoption is a clear picture of how Christ loves us and adopts us as his sons and daughters. We are eager to see how he chooses to show this truth in our lives and we cannot wait to welcome a child into our hearts through adoption.

**The first $3,000 donated to this project will be matched!!**

Domestic Adoption | United States

We are currently preparing for a domestic adoption. While we haven't been matched with a birth mom yet, we know adoption is something God has called us to and is preparing us for. We are patiently awaiting his timing, prayerfully working through decision making, and taking steps of faith to raise the funds we know will be needed when God says the time is right.

Widows | Indiana

Nancy grew up in Ohio and gave her life to Christ when she was 8 years old. God led her to Grace College where she met her husband, Mike. They were married almost 27 years and had two children. He passed away suddenly 29 years ago. Nancy was a teacher of US History and Government for several years. After Mike died, she rejoined Campus Crusade for Christ, now called Cru. She worked at the Cru headquarters in FL for several years. She was privileged to travel to many countries to take part in Cru's teacher conferences and to share Christ. Seven years ago, she retired and now teaches three Bible studies which she enjoys. She is thankful for the opportunities that God has given her and how he has provided for her through the years.

Bambi has been a widow for a little more than a year. She met her husband, Steve at Grace College. They were married 53 years. She is a faithful follower of Jesus and loves spending time with her family around a bonfire.

We are so excited to serve these two special ladies with our project!

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
