Kayla and Nathan have been together for a decade and adoption has been discussed even from the beginning. They’ve been blessed with their daughter, Addilyn. She is empathetic and nurturing yet full of spunk and sass.
After 10 years in the Marines, Nathan’s discharge led them to the opportunity to begin the adoption process. While they know without a doubt that God has called them to adopt, it has been a long time waiting.

August 2024 marks one year since we became home study approved. We are excited to grow our family and pray that we will continue to strengthen our foundation of faith, hope, and love. Addilyn is so excited to be a big sister! We are spending the time waiting to praise God, and raise funds for our adoption costs. Bethany
Bethany is a preschool special education teacher that goes to our church and is one of the first people Kayla met when their family moved to Virginia. Bethany has been widowed since 2012 when her husband passed away shortly after a cancer diagnosis. Bethany was recently diagnosed with cancer and we are looking forward to serving her and helping her complete some unfinished projects around her home! We feel honored to be part of Bethany’s story and for her to be part of ours!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
