Ty Osman

Vice Chairman - In Loving Memory

Ty Osman

Ty Osman Sr. went to Heaven on July 11, 2020. He always talked about how excited he was to go to Heaven, and now is joyfully reunited with his mom, dad, and son Ty, Jr. He deeply loved his family and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Ty was a founding board member of Both Hands and was instrumental in shaping who Both Hands is today. Along with his wisdom and leadership, he generously offered free office space to Both Hands for the first 16 years of our operations. The Both Hands legacy will forever be deeply indebted to Ty, his family, and Solomon Builders.

Ty was a great Christian man, leader, friend, and teacher to all. He taught many important life lessons: relationships are the most important thing in life; shake your booty even if you have no rhythm; and don’t take yourself seriously. Seek opportunities to give; never let anything stop you from telling a joke; and be grateful always. Rest and be silent; embrace the uncomfortable, and keep on the sunny side. Tell people you love them, and most importantly, glorify God in all you do.

Both Hands holds the Ty2 Vision Project annually to honor Ty Sr. and Ty, Jr.’s memory and legacy. Funds raised through our annual Vision Project support the ongoing operations of Both Hands so we can continue to help more families adopt.
