“You’re Never Alone”: News Channel 5 Shares the Story Behind the Both Hands Vision Project

May 2, 2026

On Saturday, May 2, during the Ty² Vision Project, more than 400 volunteers came together across Middle Tennessee to serve 23 widows in a single morning. We’re still taking it all in!

It was simple work. Landscaping, painting, cleaning and decluttering. But for these women we served, it meant so much more. It was a reminder that they are seen, known, and not forgotten.

One of the widows we served, Ms. Katie, was featured by News Channel 5 Nashville. Her story captures the heart of what happened Saturday.

But what happened on that special day doesn’t end there.

Last year, families and orphan care ministries raised over $3 million through Both Hands projects. The Ty² Vision Project is what makes that possible. It keeps the lights on and the vision alive so that 100% of what’s raised through projects can go directly to adoptions and orphan causes.

There’s still time to give to support the vision below!

Your support helps make sure more families can adopt and more widows are served all year long!
