Cherie Johnson
Cherie is a single mom of two biological children, Courtney (13) and Ethan (3). She always knew that she would grow her family by adoption and has jumped into this journey with her whole heart. Along with her children they are ready to open their home and grow in love. The total cost to fund this adoption including travel is $32,000. “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name, welcome me…” (Mark 9:37)
Little Boy
The family has recently been matched with a little boy from China. Born with Retinoblastoma in 2016, he underwent surgery very early on and had his eyes removed when he was only 18 months old. Even with the challenge of being blind he always has a smile on his face and eager to learn new things. Imagine how he will thrive when he gets to come home to his forever family where he will be able to “see” and experience life to the fullest.
Ms. Doris
For the past 59 years, Ms. Doris has lived in the house her husband, Steve, built for them. Steve and Doris raised a family of 5, and Doris was a nurse to special needs children for over 30 years. Now, she is unable to take care of things around her home. Despite these barriers, Doris continues to volunteer and feed the needy in her community.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
