TN Alliance for Kids
Tennessee Alliance for Kids (TAK) engages the community to meet the emergent and ongoing needs of children in foster care, those at risk of coming into foster care, and those aging out. The funds raised for the Both Hands project will be used towards our FOSTERLOVE Program.
Middle TN Foster Children
When social workers identify the critical needs of children, TAK meets those needs through tangible items we call FOSTERLOVE. The items include but are not limited to: beds, mattresses, bedding, clothing, personal hygiene items, household supplies, car seats, baby gates, smoke detectors, diapers, formula, food, school supplies, laptops and gift cards for food, fuel and entertainment. In addition to these items, we provide TAK PAKs which are backpacks filled with essential and comfort items for children entering foster care.
Ms. Vicky
Ms. Vicky worked as a nurse at Centennial Medical Center for many years and for a pediatrician's office before taking a school nurse position where she’s been for 21 years. She met her husband, Jeff, at Western Kentucky University and they married in 1984. Sadly, Vicky lost Jeff to cancer in 2016. Their only child, Ashley, and her husband, Ryan, have the most precious three-year-old son, Theo, who is the light of her life!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.
No Administration Fees
We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.
We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
