Jose & Anna Ramos
When Jose & Anna met, Jose was in the Army. After a tour in Iraq and receiving the purple heart, Jose & Anna got married and started a family. They have 3 daughters: Isabella, Julieta, & Emilia. This past summer, they decided to host an orphan from Ukraine and fell in love. They re-hosted him again over the winter while working on the adoption. They are eager to make their home feel complete again with him home forever.
Waiting Child
The Ramoses are in the process of adopting an 11-year-old boy from Ukraine. They felt God's calling to host him this summer. Five days into hosting, they told him they loved him and knew they wanted to adopt. Hosting this winter only strengthened that bond. They were getting close until the war began. Because of everything happening with Ukraine, they need more than ever to raise $26,000 in their fight to get him home.
Amber
Amber's husband Bob passed away unexpectedly in 2018. He was a Major in the United States Army. Amber and Bob were in the middle of a full home renovation when he died. In August of 2020, Amber was diagnosed with breast cancer. Between dealing with the loss of her best friend, and receiving cancer treatments, it has been impossible to get any more work done on the home. Amber is also currently in school working on her degree in Sustainable Food and Farming.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.
