John and Julia Walker have been married for over 6 years. They have desired children for many years and have been actively pursuing adoption for over 2 years. They are hoping to adopt an infant from the United States. The Walkers feel blessed to be called to grow their family through adoption and even more blessed to have found Both Hands to help with costs. The total cost for an adoption can vary from around $20,000 to over $50,000. The Walkers are aiming to raise $20,000.
Domestic Adoption
The Walkers are pursuing a domestic infant adoption in their home state. They have been working towards their adoption plan for a little over two years.
Ms. Mary
Mary was wife to Bob for 53 years and is mother to Patrick and Beth. She is grandmother to John and his sister Sarah, and played a big role in their lives as they grew up, especially in their Catholic education and formation. Shortly after the loss of Bob, Grandma Mary was able to move closer to John’s parents to get extra help around the house. However, there are some big projects that need a little extra help and we feel so honored to be able to bless her through this service project. We are excited to bless a widow in our community in a big way!

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
