Josiah & Ashley Johnston
Josiah and Ashley Johnston have been married for 10 years and have three wonderful, biological daughters: Selah, Lylah, and Elliah. Before Ashley and Josiah ever came to know one another, God laid adoption on each of their hearts, and it quickly became a plan the two shared together. They met when they were teens working at the movie theater, fell in love, and married young. Adoption has always been a part of the big plan for their family. It was never a question of “if” but rather “when”. Years passed and three kids later, the time came in 2020 for their family to begin praying over their hopes to make adoption a reality for their family, and in May of 2021 they began the process to adopt internationally from Taiwan.
Y-T
After lots of closed doors, God led our family to an international adoption. When we began researching Taiwan, we learned the process was different than a typical international adoption. We would have an opportunity to know so much about our potential child’s life and family! So in May 2021 we began pursuing an adoption from Taiwan. After an 11 month long home study, we saw the file of a sweet boy, Y-T, and knew instantly that he was meant to be a part of our family. In May 2022 we submitted an official request to be his family and finally March 2023 Y-T was able to make the choice himself to be a part of our family! Now we are filling out all the paperwork and raising funds to bring him home. We could not be more excited, and we invite you to join this journey with us!
Katie
Katie lost her husband last year. Katie is a preschool teacher, as well as a mom to 3 children, ranging from 7 to 24! Her husband, Brad, was the founder of Clement Arts, a non-profit that uses the arts to support foster families and families seeking to adopt. Brad was always a visionary. He had plans for what he wanted their yard to look like. We are excited for the opportunity to bring those ideas to life for this family.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
