Adoption Grants

Adoptive Families | United States

We want to do a Both Hands project because we have all been blessed individually and as a company and we want to give back to our community. We want to give our company the opportunity to participate literally using both of their hands as well as fundraising! We are excited to serve and reminded that James 1:27 says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world”. Funds from this project will go towards Both Hands' Adoption Matching Grant fund.

Nilda & Sally

Widows | Tennessee

One of the two widows that CIP will be serving on Friday, September 8th is Nilda. Nilda is a 78 year old native of Belize that moved to America in 1973. She moved to Tennessee and into her current home in 1997. Nilda trusted Jesus Christ alone as her savior and lord around the age of 10 while attending a Nazarene Church in Belize with her parents. Nilda currently listens online to the worship services of Saint Phillip Catholic Church and attends in person when the weather permits. Nilda is excited about the brightening up of her house color and picket fence as well as the repairs and staining of her deck, fence, carport and storage shed.

CIP will also be serving Ms. Sally who has been widowed for five years, is 90 years old and has suffered a stroke, but has always taken pride in the care of her home and yard. We will be removing a large dead tree, several shrubs, overgrown vines and clearing out clutter as well as replacing shutters and repairing and painting a porch room. Sally and her late husband moved her brick home, (formerly owned by Dr. Charles C. Johnson), from near the current Auto Zone on Columbia Avenue in Franklin, to the current location in 1966. Sally will be so happy to see her property shine again.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.

We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
