GCA Project 2024

March 2, 2024 | Franklin, TN
We are a discipleship group from Grace Christian Academy (GCA) consisting of high school freshman and their fathers. We have been meeting for 3+ years pursuing biblical truths, servant leadership, and developing relationships with each other. We are looking forward to serving a widow in our community and raising funds for the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes (TBCH).

TBCH provides training and support for Christian foster parents through The George Shinn Foster Care Program, providing foster homes for children across Tennessee. Their residential program consists of Christian houseparents serving in family-style homes on three campuses across the state, providing safety and biblical guidance so children can thrive. We are so excited to support this amazing ministry!

Ms. Annie

Widow | Tennessee

Annie lost her husband Scott last May on Mother's Day, just one day shy of their 18th wedding anniversary. An active member of Grace Chapel, Annie and her late husband served faithfully on the hospitality team. Their family supports several local ministries including Elijah's Heart, the Objective, We Are Here, Caleb Company, and OneGen. Annie co-leads a Mothers-In-Prayer group for Grace Christian Academy where her teenage son attends as a junior. Annie is a joy-filled woman of God, always ready to share a testimony about God's goodness and faithfulness. These days she is fond of saying that "Scott is husbanding her from heaven, with better resources." And points to this project as one of many facts corroborating her statement.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help vulnerable children receive the care they need. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.

We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
