Sarah’s Covenant Homes
Sarah’s Covenant Homes is a response to the abandonment of children with disabilities and medical needs in India through family-like homes in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, India. We’re more than just children’s homes. SCH is a big, messy family, and we do what families do. We wipe noses, change diapers, hug, dance, cry, laugh, celebrate milestones, comfort, teach, encourage, and love. We believe that children belong in families–if not their original ones, an adoptive family, or as close to a long-term family environment as we can provide for them. We do this because we believe in the unique and unlimited beauty and worth of every human being. We believe that all God’s children (of any age) deserve unconditional love every moment of their lives. And we know you do as well. Few homes like ours exist in India. It’s essential that we continue and that we thrive. Please know that if you invest in SCH, you’re meeting a real need in the community and improving the quality of life for precious individuals who truly have no one else.
Daily care for children
In India, as in most other countries, the cost of caring for a child with cerebral palsy or an intellectual disability is 3-4 times that of raising a non-disabled child. The children need daily medication, special diets, adaptive equipment, incontinence supplies, and staff support (caregiving, nursing, rehab, education, etc.) to thrive.
Ms. Buvana
Buvana married her husband, Arun, on September 13, 2001. He passed away last summer. Their son, Akash, is the same age as our recently adopted son, whom Buvana helped save when he stopped breathing at a playground near her home. Buvana noticed the Both Hands shirt I was wearing from a previous project, and shared her grieving heart over the loss of her husband and their upcoming wedding anniversary. She had been wondering how she could fix broken things at her home, like tree branches and closets, as well as being ill and sad. She was delighted to accept our offer help her with a Both Hands project!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help children receive the care they need. Will you sponsor us?

Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.
No Administration Fees
We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.
We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
