Caleb & Megan Lambeth

December 7, 2024 | Thomasville, NC
We first met over 10 years ago when we were taking classes together for the fire department. We would talk in class and carpool from time to time. Our relationship never went much further than a friendship until 6 years ago. Our paths crossed and it was like love at first sight. In the years between, we had both grown into adults full of life with great ambitions. It was at this moment that we knew where our hearts belonged and we have been inseparable ever since.
The first $2,500 donated to this project will be matched!!

Domestic Adoption |

After Caleb and I had been dating for a while, we began to discuss our desire to have a family. We knew it may be difficult for us to have biological children due to medical reasons. It was then that the option to adopt felt like it might be meant for us. After we were married, we chose to try fertility treatments but it confirmed what we expected. During this time, I received a message from a grade school friend. They had sent me a picture of a letter I wrote to my future self back in 3rd grade. This letter said, “One day I'm going to adopt beautiful little babies and fill their hearts with all the love I have to give and marry a man that serves the Lord and puts his family first.” It was at this moment that we knew we were exactly where God wanted us to be and that He is the author of this story.

Ms. Payne

Widow | North Carolina

Ms. Payne, a widow twice over, centers her life around her children and her faith in Christ. The recent loss of her sister followed closely by the passing of her husband has left her heart heavy. With her husband having handled much of the home maintenance, she now faces the overwhelming task of managing everything alone. Building a lasting relationship with Ms. Payne and supporting her through this challenging time brings us immense joy. Our goal is to restore her home to the safe and welcoming space she once knew, ensuring it remains a haven for her in the years to come. We feel truly blessed to be able to serve such a deserving widow.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
