Fostering Hope 2025
Fostering Hope began in 2012 with the goal of supporting and encouraging all those involved in the foster care system in southwest Missouri. Over the years, it has become an array of programs that provide support to children in foster care, the families caring for them, and agency workers. Fostering Hope believes that children in foster care matter.
We believe that families are worthy of care and respect, regardless of the hard situations they may be facing. We believe that agency workers are a vital part of the process of restoring and strengthening families. And we believe that a community of people that care can be an unstoppable agent of change.

Caring Closet
We are raising funds for our Caring Closet program that provides for the physical, tangible needs of children as they come into the foster care system.
Ms. Helen & Ms. Julie
Ms. Helen lost her husband 5 years ago after 20 years of marriage. She has been fostering a sweet little girl for the last 2 1/2 years and is getting ready to start the adoption process. Helen attends Christ’s Church of Oronogo. Ms. Helen’s yard is in need of some tender loving care to make it safer for her girl to play and plant flowers!
Ms Julie is a single foster mom rock star! She adopted her granddaughter from foster care 8 years ago and is currently fostering a set of teenage sisters. She is a home health aide and attends Christ’s Church of Oronogo. Ms Julie’s porch & house exterior needs some updating. We are so excited to partner with our community to serve her & her girls!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help children in foster care. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.
We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
