Philip & Melissa Butler
Baby Butler
We will be adopting domestically with the help of Faithful Adoption Consultants. This will mean we will have the opportunity to adopt a child from various states. We are trusting God’s timing in this process and know He has a far greater plan than we can imagine.
Ms. Joan
Ms. Joan has been a member of Southeast Christian Church since 2000 and has served her congregation & community in many ways. She attends Bible studies and prayer groups, and is a part of the Connecting Hearts widow group.
Joan went to foster care at age 11 when her mom passed and was at St. Joseph's Orphanage. At 16, after her dad passed, she gained guardianship of her younger siblings. She was married to her husband, who was an architect, for 33 years. He passed away 8 years ago. Joan went to school to be a commercial artist, which is a shared passion between Philip and Melissa. When we visited her we were admiring the modern pieces of art throughout her house. She has also had 3 knee surgeries in the last two years which makes it hard for her to get outside and do the work that needs to be done.
The majority of what we plan to do for her is yard work, with some work being done to hang doors in the house as well as decluttering and power washing.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees
We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.
We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
