We are Aaron and Ashley! For nearly three beautiful years of marriage, adoption has been on our hearts. Even before we met, it was part of our stories—woven into our families and deeply rooted in our faith. For Ashley, the calling to adopt has been clear since childhood. Growing up in a tight- knit, loving family and seeing the lives of adopted relatives inspired a passion to one day do the same. For Aaron, the seed was planted through his father’s adoption and further nurtured by a family that regularly opened their home to foster children. Not long after we met, it became clear that God was writing a shared story, one that included adoption.
The total cost of this adoption will be around $83,000, covering agency fees, legal expenses, travel, and care for the expectant mother. We’ve been saving and preparing for years. We are partnering with Both Hands to fundraise the remaining costs because we love their mission to serve orphans, widows, and adoptive families. We’ve gathered an amazing team of friends and local businesses to serve a widow in our community, honoring the heart of James 1:27: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…”

Baby Girl
In March 2025, we received the call we’ve been praying for—we were chosen by a courageous expectant mama to adopt her precious baby girl, due this July! We are overwhelmed with gratitude, joy, and awe. This is the beginning of the dream God placed on our hearts years ago. Our deepest desire is to provide a home full of faith, stability, laughter, and unconditional love and a place where our daughter knows she is cherished for exactly who she is. We are inviting our community to help us bring our daughter home. Whether you give, pray, or share our story, your support means the world to us.
Ms. Kay
Ms. Kay and her husband attended Ashley’s childhood church. She lost her husband of 60 years, Jim, to Alzheimer’s this March. Ms. Kay shared that Jim was always the one to work on house projects so there is much to do to catch up. Our team is excited to serve Ms. Kay by painting her main living spaces, weeding, pressure washing, fixing a fence, and removing a shed that is beyond repair.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
