Jake & Sydnie Muessen
We are the Muessen Family – Jake, Sydnie, Anna Grace, Libby, and Eli. The Lord inclined our hearts to adoption early in our relationship. We strongly believe that children belong in families and all children are created in the image of God and worthy of love. In 2023, we brought our son home from India, and his life is a precious gift. It became apparent in 2025 that the Lord was calling us to a second adoption.

Son or Daughter
We began pursuing a second adoption in February 2025. We are currently waiting for India to approve our registration. Once we receive this approval, we will be eligible to match with a child. We are seeking to adopt a child between the ages of 0 and 3, and we believe the Lord is calling us to adopt another child with a specific blood disorder.
Ed & Rachel
Ed and Rachel are siblings who were each widowed earlier this year. Ed was married to his wife, Phyllis, for nearly 30 years. Rachel was married to her husband, Warren, for 40 years. We are grateful for Ed and Rachel's willingness to allow us to serve them in this time. We will be doing several projects around each of their homes, including window washing, tree trimming, leaf pick-up, landscaping, and garage organization.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
