Brandon & Anna Good
We are Brandon and Anna with our five children, Saylor, Rocky, Bently, Harly and newest addition, Aaliyah Joy. Our family is big and full of life, family, friends, serving, gathering and hugging. Anna has had a heart to adopt since childhood and Brandon’s passion for adoption has grown over the years. Our favorite book says we love because He first loved us and so the overflow of gratefulness for this love led us to pursue adoption.
**The first $3,000 donated to this project will be matched!!**

Aaliyah Joy
We answered a call from our agency on Friday, April 25th and drove 2 hours to receive our sweet Aaliyah Joy on Tuesday, April 29th. It was a whirlwind of taking down a crib, putting up a bed, grabbing a few necessities, and trusting God with the many unknowns. We were blessed to spend 90 minutes with Aaliyah’s birth mom and are so grateful for this first interaction. Psalm 121 has been near to our hearts reminding us that we and Aaliyah Joy are kept by the Keeper.
Ms. Phyllis
"My name is Phyllis. I am a Christ follower, a recent widow, a mom to 4 married children, and Grammy to 13 grandkids. I am also an urban missionary here in Cincinnati. Nine years ago my husband and I moved to the Village of Lockland to start an urban ministry. The purpose of the work is to reach people with the gospel, so their lives will be transformed as well as the place they live. The soil is hard and the work is slow, but God continues to bless and grow the ministry, for which we are grateful.
In May of 2023, my husband Jim was diagnosed with ALS. His diagnosis side-tracked our day to day work at the Metanoia Center. God graciously sent workers and volunteers to lead the ministry. Jim passed away March 8, this year. We would have been married 50 years in November. His loss has left a huge hole in my life, as we have worked side by side in mission work for the past 23 years. God has been patiently walking with me through grief and many life changes. He has always been faithful to us and there's no reason to believe that will change. I don't know exactly what my new life looks like, but I am asking God to direct my steps on the path He has for me."
We are so excited to serve Ms. Phyllis with this project!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
