Matthew & Amber DeVries
Matthew and Amber were married in 2020 (covid wedding!), with dreams of starting their family. After five challenging years of infertility and the loss of three babies, they turned to adoption, which God placed on their hearts. They are so grateful to have their son, Shepherd, home with them now. Their journey has strengthened their faith and deepened their desire to love and nurture through adoption, sharing joy and hope with others along the way.
**The first $3,000 raised by this project will be matched!**

Shepherd
Amber and Matthew started their adoption journey during the summer of 2024. After experiencing numerous challenges and the loss of a lot of money with the agency they started with, they decided to leave the agency and find a better match. After completing their home study, they were anticipating about 12-18 months to be matched with a birth mother. To their shock, only 4 days after approval, they got 'the call'! They brought home sweet Shepherd that evening. Because of this, they did not have time to fundraise as they had hoped to, and his final adoption fees will be due by the end of the year.
Ms. Bev & Ms. Karen
For Ms. Bev, we will be washing windows, painting a door, and deep cleaning her basement on December 6th. Her husband passed 4 years ago.
For Ms. Karen we will be removing wallpaper, painting, potential yard clean up if weather permits, and interior decluttering / prepping her home to be put on the market. Her husband passed 4 months ago (she is a young widow - 62) from cancer. December 6th would have been their 30th wedding anniversary.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our days of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
