Justin and Julie have been married for 16 years and have 3 biological children, James (14), Jackson (12), and Jana (9), and a dog named Joy. The desire to adopt has been on our hearts for years, and in the spring of 2025, we felt the Lord was telling us that the time was now. We are excited to see how God will lead in this adventure.

Baby Walter
Through discussions with agencies about our current family situation, reviewing the need and requirements for adoption, we were directed toward international adoption, and specifically adoption from Hong Kong. We have applied to adopt a girl from Hong Kong, 2-6 years in age and are currently awaiting a match.
Ms. Ginerva
Ginerva attends our church, and she and her family have been friends of our family for a long time. She is one of our kids’ “church grandmas” and especially came alongside Julie while Justin was deployed with the Army Reserve and Julie was taking care of James and pregnant with Jackson. We will be helping Ginerva with yard work around her house and clearing some dead trees along the back of her property.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.
