At Both Hands, our mission is to serve orphans, widows and Christian adoptive families as it says in James 1:27. Much like our friends at Lifesong for Orphans, we believe finances should never be an obstacle for a family who is called to adopt. We do this by helping families organize service projects for widows while raising funds for adoptions.
We've completed over 1,600 projects raising over $25 million for adoption costs. With the average family raising $23,000 per project, there's no limit to how much a family can raise. No fees are deducted from the funds you raise and we can reimburse you for adoption expenses already paid. See how a Both Hands project works!

Both Hands is currently offering families who have already been approved through Lifesong an additional $4,000 matching grant if they complete a Both Hands project.
To qualify, 1) the project must be completed by August 1, 2026, (2) the project must raise at least $4,000, and (3) families must send out at least 200 of fundraising letters to their friends and family to help raise support for their project.
