Trevor & Kristen Olson
Trevor and Kristen Olson married in 2009 after meeting online, despite growing up a mile apart. They have two biological sons, Asher and Crosby. The Olsons enjoy having fun & laughing together. Serving the orphaned has been on their hearts for quite some time, and when God finally called them to action, He placed a child in front of them, whom they’ve been “running” to ever since. They can hardly wait for Hana to join in all the fun!
Hana
Hana is a sweet, almost 3 year-old little girl. She has lived in an orphanage in Albania her whole life, waiting for her forever family. Hana has special needs, including decreased use of the right side of her body. These needs have intimidated other prospective families, but the Olsons are prepared and able to meet Hana's needs, especially with Kristen's background in pediatric physical therapy. It truly is a match made in Heaven.
Ms. Katie
Katie lost her husband, Darrell, in 2019 to colon cancer. She dearly misses his calm demeanor and sense of humor. Upon Darrell's passing, Katie was left to raise their two young girls on her own. She now balances working as an occupational therapist and supporting her girls with their school and extracurricular activities, all while managing her own eye condition that limits her vision. We feel honored to bless Katie by completing several projects around her house.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
