Ryan & Missy Ariosa

June 8, 2024 | Baltimore, MD

Ryan and Missy, along with their son Gage and pup Finnegan, continue to grow their family through adoption! Their journey to parenthood was wrought with many years of loss prior to adopting Gage, but he quickly filled their hearts with joy beyond measure. Two years later they were surprised and thrilled to learn that Gage’s birth mom was having another baby and wanted them to keep these precious siblings together. Despite the challenges they would face, they eagerly said yes to this opportunity and are trusting God to help them make this a reality. They have been blessed with a matching grant totaling $4,000, meaning all donations up to that amount will be doubled!

Domestic Adoption | United States

Ryan and Missy are thrilled to announce they have been approved to adopt Gage’s biological sibling who is due on August 11, 2024. This baby is facing very challenging circumstances and NICU time is anticipated. The estimated cost of this adoption is $72,500 plus travel and hospital fees. Ryan and Missy both work full-time in education and healthcare and have taken loans to cover nearly half of these expenses. They are asking for your help to raise the additional funds by serving their community with this project. Every dollar counts and is so greatly appreciated.

Ms. Tawnya

Widow | Maryland

Tawnya is a young, resilient widow who has faced hardship well beyond her years. Her husband, Cliff, was the love of her life, and early in their relationship they lost their two-year-old son to cancer. Despite this challenge, the couple remained dedicated to one another and built a life together. At age 49 Tawnya lost Cliff after a prolonged illness from complications of COVID. The home she now lives in was their last gift to one another and Tawnya would like to honor his memory by transforming the space into a sanctuary of comfort and love. Tawnya works full time at the hospital and despite the grief she bears, she unreservedly offers love and compassion to others on a daily basis. We are blessed to serve her with this project, and hope to honor her past, while embracing her future with hope and resilience.
