Hi! We are Alyssa, Mike and Dexter. Long before our paths crossed, both of us shared a deep desire to adopt, and this longing became one of the bonds that brought us together. Over the last 3 years we have experienced secondary infertility. In 2023, our daughter Audrey Lou was stillborn at 34 weeks, followed by an IVF pregnancy loss at 16 weeks, and then another miscarriage at 9 weeks. We still have so much love to give and our desire to grow our family and have a sibling for Dexter has led us down the path of domestic adoption.

We are waiting to be matched with our birth family. But already we hold so much respect for our birth mother’s courage and selflessness. We can't wait to welcome her baby into our safe and loving home filled with unconditional love.
Ms. Alicia
Alicia and her children lost their husband and father Gerald to Cancer in October 2021. She is now a busy mom of 4 between the ages of 12-18. When she's not carpooling them around to their activities or creating magical childhood memories with them, she finds herself busy with her Desert Bloom Landscape Design business. We are honored to be able to support her family and lighten her load by building garden beds, washing exterior windows, and doing a thorough and deep clean of her home. Just in time for the holidays so that her and her family can enjoy quality time together.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.
We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
