Nathaniel & Megan Battaglia
We are Megan and Nathaniel Battaglia. Adoption has never been a second choice for us, we talked about it while dating as 18 year olds! We have been blessed with two biological daughters, Jemma in 2017, and Felicity in 2019. We officially started the adoption process just after Felicity’s 1st birthday. While we know without a doubt that God has called us to walk this road to adoption, it has been a long two years of waiting.
Baby Girl
August 2023 marked three years since we began the adoption process. But on 2pm on a Thursday at the beginning of the month, we received the call that told us an expectant mama had chosen us to be the future family for her baby girl due in November! We are beyond excited to meet this sweet soul! Please be praying with us while we prepare for this little life, for her growth and development, and for her mama as she faces the hardest decisions. We are so grateful for the doors that have been opened thanks to Both Hands!
Fara
Fara worked for the Virginia Department for the Visually Impaired for 8 years as an itinerant teacher of school age children. She said this was the best job she's ever had until she and her husband became parents in 1984 (son) and 1987(daughter). Homeschooling (yet another great job) became a natural part of their lives. Bob and Fara were married for almost 47 years, until Fara was widowed in September 2021, after Bob's lengthy illness. Since then, their country yard has been neglected except for mowing. Fara says it would be a blessing to clean up the beds and areas that she used to tend to with great happiness before Bob needed full time care. We are hoping to bless Fara by doing this and other chores around her home!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a woman in need's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
