Rob & Antarra Belcher
We have long wanted to adopt. Antarra has been thinking about adoption since she was in her early twenties. Rob started thinking about it as result of the war in Ukraine because of his feeling that Christians should care for the orphans created by war, natural disaster, and all other forms of tragedy. Infertility moved the timeline for adoption forward. We feel ready for a child because we have been caregivers for our niece, Ellara (5 years old) since she was 2 and 1/2 years old. We love children and want nothing more than to bless a child and a birth mom through this process.
**The first $4,000 donated to this project will be matched!!**
Baby Belcher
We are pursuing domestic adoption through Lifeline Children’s Services and are happy to announce that we have completed all the administrative steps and are now awaiting the opportunity to bring the newest member of our family home. Rob thinks the background checks were more thorough than the Army ones for getting a top-secret clearance… but that’s a story for another time. What’s important now is that you all have an opportunity to help with the next step and to join in living out the message of James 1:27. We would love to have your help in preparing a loving home for a child, funding the last phase of our adoption, and caring for two amazing women from our church.
Claire & Marsha
Meet Ms. Claire — a loving mom to five daughters and proud grandma to five sweet grandbabies. Claire recently retired after a long and faithful career as an elementary school teacher, pouring her heart into the lives of children for decades. She’s now adjusting to a new season of life as a widow. Claire continues to show kindness, wisdom, and warmth to everyone around her, and we’d love to surround her with that same care and support.
Meet Ms. Marsha — a loving mother of two God given adopted daughters. Marsha is also a grandmother to four wonderful grandsons and soon to be a great grandmother. Marsha has served her community through a women’s prison ministry for decades and continues to be involved with her local church. She has lived as a widow for the last eight years, after her husband of nearly fifty years passed.
Let’s bless these lovely women the way they have blessed so many others!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
