Dawn Bell

March 28, 2026 | New London, IA

Hi! My name is Dawn. God put the desire in my heart at a young age to be a mother, so I always wondered how I could honor God and still become a mother as a single woman. After years of prayer and seeking wisdom from God-fearing men and women in my life, God blessed me with my son, Jensen, through artificial insemination. Once Jensen was old enough, the desire for another child and to watch my son be a big brother was laid on my heart. I started looking into adoption and after prayer and reflection, chose to start my adoption journey. Jensen cannot wait to be a big brother. We are so looking forward to completing our family through adoption!

**The first $3,000 raised by this project will be matched!**

Domestic Adoption | United States

Adoption has been near and dear to my heart for as long as I can remember. I live in a community where adoption is celebrated and cherished. After having several friends adopt, I felt God's calling to open my heart to do the same. God has blessed me with a supportive and loving family, church family, and community family. Every child is a gift from God. I am humbled to be on this journey of love, growth, and I believe every child is a precious gift from the Lord. With my home study approved, profile completed, I am waiting on God's perfect timing.

Domestic adoption costs around $60,000, which primarily covers agency fees, birth mother care (support with daily living, counseling, etc) and legal fees.

Widow | Iowa

Erma Jean is 99 years young! She and her husband Bill have been faithful servants of our Lord and Savior most of their lives. The Lord called Bill home a few years ago, so it's an honor to serve Erma Jean. She is very warm, loving and generous woman. Her home is even older than she is, so it has some updating that needs to be done! We will be doing some yard work and landscaping for her, along with replacing an old screen door. There will be some decluttering and organizing as well.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
