Our hearts were united in our desire to adopt before our second child was born in 2009. We were surprised when God placed it on our hearts to have a third, biologically, in 2014. We are so thankful that He did! After our youngest son’s brain cancer (in 2017) and being truly humbled by God’s care and mercy, we felt Him leading us to share this mercy with others. Now, is the time He has ordained for us to adopt.
A Waiting Child
We want to be conduits of God’s mercy. We chose to adopt from Memphis, TN because our youngest son received cancer treatment there at St. Jude in 2017. We continue to travel back every 4 months for his ongoing care and pediatric cancer research. We know that our sovereign God pulled us away from our hometown, in Jamestown, TN, for His divine purpose. He doesn’t owe us any explanation, but He has been so kind to put the pieces together for us!
Mrs. Brenda
Our project will serve Amanda’s aunt, Brenda Crockett. There are simply not enough good things to say about her Uncle Gary Crockett. He was known to our entire community as “The Voice of Home” as he enjoyed his role as local DJ for WDEB for over 45 years! Many felt the loss of his passing. It is our hope that our family and community can come together to honor him by caring for her in his absence.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
