Nate & Alysha
We are Nate and Alysha, and we’ve been together for 17 years, married for 15. We both absolutely love babies and children and always wanted a fairly big family. We have been blessed with two biological daughters. Leyla is 11 and Ellie is 9. After many years of secondary infertility and the losses of 4 precious little ones, we started to consider growing our family through adoption. After we witnessed the beauty of adoption when our sweet niece (and God-daughter) was adopted 3 years ago, we knew God was calling us to adopt a baby of our own. We are strong in our Christian faith and truly believe that we ourselves were adopted by God, and we are all so very excited to adopt the precious little one God has intended for us.

Baby
We have been home study approved since October of 2023 and are waiting to be matched, hopefully soon, but in God's perfect timing. We will adopt an infant through a domestic adoption within the United States.
Cinda
Cinda's been a widow for 6 years. Her husband, John, was an Air Force Veteran and an electrician. She was a deaf and hard of hearing educator in South Bend and all around Kosciusko county before retiring about 6 years ago. She and her husband adopted their two children who are now grown. She has some windows, doors, and deck posts that need painted, a step and landing that needs replaced, some weed eating that needs done, some trees and branches down that need to be cut up and removed, and some small holes that need to be patched up. We are so excited to serve Cinda with this project!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
