Family Renewal Initiative 2025

November 1, 2025 | Martinsburg, WV

The Family Renewal Initiative of the Eastern Panhandle, Inc. exists to engage and serve local families in crisis, meet their immediate needs and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so that they may discover their true purpose and their Source of wisdom and strength in this world and the next through the free gift of salvation. We exist to motivate and engage the local church to extend profound Christian love, hospitality, and generosity to families in crisis, with the purpose of transforming these families and grafting them into the Church.

The Family Renewal Initiative has seen a significant increase in referrals of families in crisis, providing us a growing opportunity to serve our community in Jesus' Name. We are raising funds to enable us to meet this increasing need this year and into 2026.

Miss Carol

Widow | West Virginia

Miss Carol has been a faithful member of Independent Bible Church for many years. Her husband, David, drove the bus for years at the church, especially for the Senior Care ministry, until his passing several years ago. Carol is an avid quilter and she serves in the "Create, Sew & Share" ministry at IBC, where women use their God-given talents to bless people in the community with useful and encouraging gifts sewn with love. Carol has a kind and giving heart and the Family Renewal Initiative team will arrive at her house on November 1 with rakes, pruners, chainsaws and other yard equipment to spruce up and reclaim her yard from Mother Nature, who has been trying to take over since David passed away.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help children and families receive the support they need. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.

We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
