Nick & Kara Goodwin

June 20, 2020 | Fairfield, OH

We got married in 2010, but even when dating we talked about having a family. We had both seen the positive impact of adoption, and we knew from the beginning that it would be in our future. After experiencing the heartache of infertility, we realized that our dream of both biological and adopted children might not be a reality. Knowing God’s plan is greater than ours, we are so excited to adopt our first child!

A Waiting Child

Orphan | United States

Knowing we wanted to adopt from our local area, we decided to explore an infant adoption. We are passionate about life and want our family to be an option for an expecting woman in crisis. We are hoping to be matched soon!

Widow | Fairfield, OH

Ms. Chona left her home country of Trinidad and Tobago with her husband and young children to immigrate to the U.S. nearly 30 years ago. Her biggest passions are family, education and gardening. She loves hosting family dinners and she adores the daffodils her husband planted for her when they first moved to America. When her husband unexpectedly passed away of an unknown medical condition in 2017, their family home and yard was left in need of a little TLC. It is an honor to serve Ms. Chona!

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.

We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
