Joel & Hope Gould
We want to adopt because we believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and Christ-centered home where they can know they are cherished. We long to provide not only for a child’s physical needs, but also to nurture their heart, encourage their dreams, and walk with them through life’s joys and challenges. For us, adoption is not just about growing our family—it’s about stepping into God’s calling to love and care for a child who needs a forever home.
**The first $4,000 donated to this project will be matched!!**

Baby Gould
We are working with Family Life Services in Lynchburg, VA, and a child adoption attorney in SC. While we haven’t been matched with a birth family yet, we are eagerly awaiting that special call! Right now, we are in our preparation season, and it has been so exciting to learn more about adoption each day. We have attended the adoption seminar, completed an online adoption education course, finished our home study, and attended many appointments along the way. It has been incredible to see how God is working in our waiting. This journey has truly been full of growth and blessings, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Ms. Judy
Judy has been a widow since the spring of 2022. She lost her husband to an unexpected heart attack. Judy served as a lieutenant for 23 years at Tyger River Corrections, while her late husband served over 20 years in the Air Force and also worked in law enforcement. At 75 years old, Judy experiences chronic pain, has ruptured discs in her back, and has undergone neck and knee surgeries. She needs assistance around her home with tasks such as decluttering rooms including the garage, general maintenance, removing wallpaper and painting, repairing her gate and doors, adding railings, and light landscaping. Support in these areas would greatly help make her home safer and more comfortable.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
