Jonathan & Erika Hines
Jonathan and Erika have had a heart for adoption even before they were married 7 years ago. With adoption being part of both their families’ histories, they were beyond excited to adopt their son Jack in 2022, and were eager to apply for their second and current adoption. Their hope is to raise a third of their adoption costs through serving their sweet neighbor with the help of family and friends.

We are currently approved and waiting on a match for domestic infant adoption, up to the age of 5 years old. We have a heart for sibling pairs or groups and would gladly consider welcoming more than one child if it meant keeping family members together.

Janet enjoys reading, writing, dancing, meditating, art, and has a passion for helping people become financially stable through financial literacy education and strategic solutions. Originally from Honduras, she was married 47 years to her late husband Amilcar, and is a mom of 3 sons. In the short time we’ve known her, we’re already inspired by her strength and peace.

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
