Keystone Family Alliance – Berks County
We are a team with Keystone Family Alliance – Berks County, an organization committed to bridging the gap between the needs within the child welfare system and the local Church. While not everyone is called to foster or adopt, we believe everyone is called to do something. Our heart is to educate Jesus followers about the realities vulnerable children and families face, motivate them to discover how God is calling them to respond, and equip them with the tools, training, and information needed to make a meaningful difference.
**The first $3,000 donated to this project will be matched!!**

Care Communities
We are raising funds to support the mission of Keystone Family Alliance – Berks County. It takes resources to engage with churches, train volunteers, and operate our online platform, Gateway—a vital tool that connects the needs of children in the child welfare system with those in the community who are ready to help. A key part of our work is launching Care Communities—teams that wrap around foster families with practical and emotional support for one year. The goal of these communities is to help families foster stronger, longer, keeping children in stable, loving homes. Each Care Community costs approximately $500, and our goal is to sustain 57 of them across Berks County. Funds raised will go directly toward closing our 2025 budget gap and helping us continue to make a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable children and the families who care for them.
Daphne
We will be serving Daphne, a faithful woman of God and devoted mother. Daphne and her late husband have one biological daughter and adopted four children, including a son who has medical challenges and relies on a wheelchair for mobility. Two of her children still live at home, the youngest being just 11 years old.
In recent years, Daphne has faced many significant losses, including the passing of her husband four years ago. Despite these hardships, she continues to pour into her community by encouraging and training foster and adoptive families. Her oldest daughter is now fostering, and Daphne regularly helps by watching the children on weekends while her daughter works.
Daphne is a true servant of the Lord, and we are honored to come alongside her to offer love, support, and encouragement during this season.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help support foster families in Berks County. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees
We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.
We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
