We are Stephen and Maija, parents to Bobbie (4) and Stevie (2). Adoption is deeply woven into our family’s story—this will be our third adoption, and each journey has been a profound blessing. Our passion for adoption is a reflection of God’s love for His people, whom He adopts and calls His own. Our hearts are open and eager to welcome another child into our home, extending the same love and belonging we’ve been so graciously given.

Son or Daughter
Our adoption journey began before we were married, when we discovered a shared passion for adoption. Since then, we’ve been blessed to adopt our two wonderful children and are now joyfully preparing for our third. As we prayed about this next step, God placed on our hearts the orphaned children of Colombia. After months of paperwork and preparation, we’re excited to soon be matched with a child and travel to Colombia to bring them home.
A Widow in Our Community
The loss of a beloved spouse often makes it difficult for a widow to keep up with the needed repairs and improvements to her home. We are excited to bless a widow in our community in a big way through this project.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
