We met online during the pandemic and it didn’t take long for us to realize that we were perfect for each other. We have been married since May 2021 and have been trying to grow our family ever since, but for some reason we have not been able to have a baby. We have prayed about this a great deal and feel that adoption is the best path for us. We have lots of experience working with kids that has prepared us to be loving parents (Scott works with kids as a coach and teacher and Star is a Therapist that works with kids on a daily basis). We love kids and can’t wait to have one of our own to love and share in our adventures. We have plenty of love to share and are looking forward to growing our family with a child that we will cherish, support, nurture and do our absolute best to give them the greatest life.

Ms. Terry
Ms. Terry lost her husband about 2 years ago. She is an amazing mother, grandmother and friend and her granddaughter lives with her in her lovely home. Terry attends LifeGate church, where Star has been involved in Bible studies etc since 2019 and Scott first attended in late 2020. Today, her home is in need of some tender loving care and we feel honored to be able to help her through this service project. We are excited to bless a widow in our community in a big way!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.
We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
