Braden & Emily Picardi
The Picardi family felt the calling to begin the adoption process in 2023, desiring to adopt 1-2 children from Colombia between the ages of 4-8. They remained diligent to complete all tasks of the process as timely as possible, but still encountered many delays and disappointments. In Fall 2024, they became aware of a 7 year old little girl already adopted from Colombia and living in Maryland, who needed a new family. They quickly pivoted to respond to this need and were thrilled to become a family of three in November 2024. They’ve recently celebrated their first family-versary and the sweet rewards of secure attachments and redemptive growth.
**The first $3,000 raised by this project will be matched!**

Post Adoption Services
Andrea came home to the Picardi Family in November 2024. Since then, she's flourished and made many gains that have allowed her to warmly attach and feel settled in her family, learn English and early literacy skills, and to process some of her past traumas. The Picardis recently celebrated their first family-versary, Andrea's salvation experience, and her choice to be baptized. She is thriving! The goal of this project is to raise the funds needed to continue to provide the same level of services for Andrea's care over the next two years to allow her to continue to make such miraculous progress.
Ms. Margaret
Ms. Margaret, a widow since 2005, ministers to missionary kids (MKs), missionaries, widows, and others in the community walking through crises. Through Mercifully Known Ministries, she demonstrates the love of Jesus by coming alongside with hope, help and encouragement. Due to extensive water damage, her home and ministry center had to be remediated while Ms. Margaret and her family were displaced for almost a year. When they moved back in, they were still only able to live in a smaller section of the house until more extensive repairs could be completed. This project aims to help finish up the jobs that will allow Ms. Margaret and her family to live more freely in their home and to ready the property to better serve others in need.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
