Domestic Adoption | United States

Adoption has been on our hearts since we first married in 2013. After initially experiencing infertility when trying to grow our family, we decided to wait to start the adoption process after we had had some time to heal from the loss and struggles of infertility. To us, adoption is more than just growing our family. Adoption is living our lives in such a way that we are able to share God's love, compassion, and peace with not just our child, but also our child's birth mother and birth family. In 2025 we received a call about a potential adoption situation. Though the situation did not end in adoption for our family, we truly believe that meeting and walking alongside the birth mother as she journeyed to birth was a part of our calling and season that was divinely ordained by God. Since that time, we have continued to feel God confirm our call to adoption and are now working with an adoption agency. We are eagerly awaiting a phone call to be matched and bring home our baby girl/boy!

Widow | Idaho

We will be serving a long time family friend, Jody. Jody was Poe's next door neighbor growing up and she is involved in a small group with Poe's parents. Jody also has a heart for adoption and adopted her two daughters, who are now grown. On our project day, we will be helping prepare her yard and outdoor space for warmer weather. There is a lot of winter clean up to do, a few small upkeep and organization projects, some painting as well as some landscaping that will help make her yard and outdoor space much easier for her to maintain.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
