Robson Academy/Lifesong Project 2023

June 3, 2023 | Nashville, TN

Lifesong for Orphans is a nonprofit organization that seeks to mobilize the Church to care for the orphan. Lifesong’s goal is for children to not only be adopted but to thrive which means supporting post-adoption care. In keeping with this mission, Lifesong for Orphans has vigorously advocated for and supported the students of Robson Academy for several years.

Robson Academy serves kids that don't fit the traditional school mold including kids who are neurodivergent, have social/emotional challenges, and have experienced early trauma. For this reason, approximately 50% of our students are adopted which propelled the relationship between Lifesong and Robson. When Robson Academy abruptly found itself in a financial crisis that threatened to close the school in March, Lifesong generously stepped in and is currently supporting our school through the end of this school year. Without Lifesong, Robson Academy would have already closed its doors. We, the families of Robson Academy, are now stepping up to support Lifesong.

In doing so, we also have the opportunity to serve one of our very own. Kimberly lost her husband Tim to Huntington's Disease in 2022. Kimberly and Tim's son, Logan, is a beloved student at Robson Academy and we are honored to serve their family.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help children receive the specialized education they need and deserve. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.

We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
