John & Allyson Sapp
We both have always known that we wanted to be parents, but the journey to parenthood has not been an easy one for us. After years of struggling with infertility, undergoing several IVF treatments, and experiencing heartbreaking losses, we began to question whether parenthood was really in the cards for us. However, despite the challenges we faced, we always believed that it was God’s will for us to become parents.
Recently, we started to see that God was using our struggles to set us up for something truly special. He was teaching us that beauty can come from heartbreak and brokenness. We began to open our hearts not only to the idea of having a child but also to the mother of that child. We realized that adoption was the path that God had chosen for us.
Throughout this journey, we have leaned on Psalm 37:4, which says, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” We have found comfort in this verse and have learned to trust in God’s plan for our lives. Although the wait for a child can be difficult, we know that God has a perfect timing for everything and that he has already chosen the child who will be a part of our family. We are excited to see what the future holds and are grateful for the lessons that God has taught us along the way.
Baby Girl
In October 2023, we received an exciting call saying we have been matched with a birth mom. For the next 3 months we continued to fundraise, prepare our house, lives, and our community for the arrival of this sweet girl. We can not wait to bring this sweet baby girl home to join our family.
Ms. Jonnie
Ms. Jonnie is a retired teacher and her husband, who was a veteran, passed away about a year ago. Our family has roots in the same church that I grew up going to, which is also the church she attended.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
