Signs for Hope 2025
Signs for Hope (SFH) envisions a world where the lives of all Deaf and hard of hearing orphans are enhanced by adoption or sponsorship and by providing opportunities to help them achieve their full potential in this life. Since 2008, when God called SFH to “coordinate the adoption of Deaf orphans in the world,” we have been a part of more than 300 Deaf/HH adoptions. We believe God’s adoption of all Deaf/HH orphans is the most important of all.

Family Retreat
We are raising funds for our annual SFH ASL (American Sign Language) Immersion Family Retreat which will be held in May 2026. The retreat is for hearing families needing to improve their ASL skills and learn about trauma-informed care. We have many Deaf/HH staff members and hearing ASL fluent staff members who have been trained in trauma-informed care this year, making them ready for this retreat.
Cathe
Cathe was married to the love of her life, Ray, for 46 years before he went home to be with Jesus. Together they served the Lord in India and Nicaragua sharing the love of Christ with others. Cathe is a retired nurse who volunteers her time serving in the medical field as well as in her church. We are excited to help Cathe with yard work, repairs, and other projects in and around her home.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help families of adopted children get the training they need. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care projects for ourselves.
We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
