Thunder and Kristina Shahan have been married for 5 years and have one biological child, Skyler. Their hearts for adoption grew significantly as they watched friends close to them walk the journey beautifully. The desire to grow their family through adoption is something they find hard to put into words and cannot wait to show through their actions. Loving this child unconditionally will be one of their greatest honors! The total cost to bring Baby Shahan home is $55,000.
Domestic Adoption
The Shahans are in their second year of the adoption process. They are working with a local agency for their domestic adoption and are waiting to be matched. The Shahans are raising the funds to bring home Baby Shahan as they eagerly wait for their child!
John & Dorothy
John & Dorothy have both had a series of serious medical issues the last few years. Dorothy had a stroke and John had toxicity from a medication that he nearly died from. It is taking time for both of them to bounce back. They are now both unable to drive. They also care for their daughter, Hope, who is now suffering from dementia. Because most of their day requires caring for Hope it has been hard to keep up with the tasks around their house. Their home is in need of some tender loving care.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.
