We pursued adoption through foster to adopt. We had a heart for sibling sets and children with medical needs as Andrew and I both work in the medical field. We began fostering in 2014 and in 2015 Ava and Lynn were placed in our home and Lacy and Lily came into care shortly after in 2016. What started as an opening of our home became the building of our family, and in 2020 we were honored to officially adopt all four girls.

Post-adoption services
We are continuing to invest in our family's growth by pursuing additional therapeutic support. Adoption has brought incredible beauty to our family, along with opportunities to grow in understanding and connection. Like any journey rooted in love, it can also come with layers of complexity. These supports are helping us build deeper connection, strengthen trust and create space for healing. Our hope is to lay a foundation where each member of our family can thrive in order to build a resilient and connected family.
Waiting Widow
The loss of a beloved spouse often makes it difficult for a widow to keep up with the needed repairs and improvements to her home. We are excited to bless a widow in our community in a big way!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a family obtain needed post-adoption services. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.
